The Bays Club Inc. was formed in 1979.

The club which is a member of Clubs NZ has a membership of over 3600. The reason the club continues to enjoy exceptional growth is because of its magnificent location which looks out over the Browns Bay Beach & Hauraki Gulf, complimented by great entertainment, with a monthly Quiz, Bingo every 2nd Wednesday and Karaoke last Friday of the month.

The club is well backed by its 7 adjuncts who organise sporting and leisure indoor and outdoor activities. The club is a very popular venue for functions and there are packages representing outstanding value available for weddings, birthdays, etc. and can cater for up to 140 people.
